On January 13th, 2025, Margot Rhondeau, the Senior Director of Health and Wellness at the National Down Syndrome Society, made comments advocating for the inclusion of the Down syndrome community in the National Alzheimer's Project Council. With a new seat reserved for a community disproportionately affected by Alzheimer's, Margot shared the importance of having individuals with Down syndrome be included in any discussion on Alzheimer's.
